Methodist Hospitals can help YOUR PATIENTS battle breast cancer with the LATEST TECHNOLOGIES
As one of the first 50 in the US with the advanced 3D mammography system known as tomosynthesis, our Breast Imaging Center has improved the sensitivity of mammograms to more accurately diagnose breast cancers. Tomosynthesis reveals the inner architecture of the breast, free from the distortion often caused by tissue shadowing or density. Unlike regular digital mammography, 3D mammography allows radiologists to see through dense tissue and spot the tiniest tumors as early as possible. Its superior clinical performance also gives us confidence to rule out breast cancer without the added stress, inconvenience and radiation exposure associated with additional testing.
