Tim Diamond has joined Methodist Hospitals as Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining Methodist, Tim was the Chief Information Officer at La Rabida Children’s Hospital in Chicago, Illinois where he was responsible for all aspects of Information Services, Health Information Management and Telecommunications Services. Tim developed and executed IS Strategy focusing on patient safety, quality of patient care and technology advances. Previously he also served as the Director of Information Technology at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Tim’s diverse experience with strategic planning, operations and project management skills will be an asset to our organization.
Victor Garcia joins Methodist Hospitals as Director of Critical Care and
Victor Garcia has joined Methodist Hospitals as Director of Critical Care and Emergency Department. Victor was at Methodist Hospitals in Sacramento, California where he was
the Director of Critical Care (Emergency Services & Med/Surg Intensive Care Unit). Prior to Sacramento, Victor was at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ where he was the Director of Emergency Services including ED Base Station, Patient Transportation and Disaster Preparedness. Victor has a Masters in Business Administration. He received
a BA in Nursing, Economics and Business Administration from Indiana University in Bloomington.
Marcia Brewer joins Methodist Hospitals as Director of Cardiovascular Services
Marcia Brewer MSN, MSA, RN, FACCA has joined Methodist Hospitals as Director of Cardiovascular Services. Before coming to Methodist Hospitals, Marcia spent 24 years at La Porte Hospital as Director of the Cardiovascular Service Line. During her tenure with La Porte Marcia served in several capacities in management including Respiratory Therapy, Cancer Treatment Center, and Neurology and was instrumental in development of the Neuro-Sleep Lab and the Heart & Vascular Institute.
Brewer holds a Masters in Nursing Leadership from Ball State and a Masters in Business Administration from Notre Dame. Marcia is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiovascular Administrators.
