Methodist Hospitals is recognized as a Center for Comprehensive MS Care through the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Partners in MS Care program. This formal recognition honors the hospital’s Multiple Sclerosis Program’s commitment to providing exceptional, coordinated MS care; as well as Methodist’s continuing partnership with the MS Society to address the challenges faced by those with MS.
The Society’s Partners in MS Care program recognizes committed providers, such as the Methodist Hospitals Multiple Sclerosis Program, who support the Society’s initiative of affordable access to high quality care for everyone living with MS.
Multiple Sclerosis Program Team
The Methodist Hospitals MS Program is led by William Conte, MD, a board-certified neurology specialist, who was fellowship-trained in the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis at the University of Chicago.
Patient care is administered by a team comprised of highly trained MS-certified nurses, nurse practitioners, and a dedicated support staff. All therapies and neurodiagnostics are available on site.
The Methodist Hospitals Multiple Sclerosis Program offers outpatient treatment designed to help improve the quality of life for people living with MS, as well as their loved ones. Methodist’s patient-centered care combines state-of-the-art treatment, support, education and therapies to help manage Multiple Sclerosis and the symptoms that often accompany the disease.
The Neuroscience Institute Infusion Center is equipped with comfortable reclining chair and state-of-the-art infusion pumps, and is staffed by caring nurses who maintain close coordination and communication with the MS Program team throughout the course of treatment.
