Obesity is more than just being overweight. For many, it is a threat to physical and psycho-social health. Since 2002, Methodist Hospitals has helped more than 1,000 people achieve a healthier life through bariatric surgery – more than any other hospital in Northwest Indiana.
By reducing obesity-related health complications, the Center for Bariatric Surgery, led by Dr. James Siatras, helps patients lead healthier more active life. What’s more, many or our patients become happier, redefine the people they are, and embrace a second chance at life.
