Methodist Care First Imaging Center, formerly Schererville Imaging Center, has been serving Schererville and surrounding communities since 1998. We are conveniently located at 7860 Burr Street, Schererville, Indiana, on the Northwest corner of Burr Street and Route 30. Methodist Care First Imaging Center provides a variety of imaging solutions, including ultrasounds, CT scans, MRI scans and radiology exams.

Some insurance plans now refuse coverage for imaging services performed at hospital-based imaging centers. Please be assured that Methodist Care First Imaging Center meets the coverage requirements of those plans.

The mission of Methodist Care First Imaging Center is to provide the highest level of quality, comprehensive state-of-the-art diagnostic medical imaging and interventional radiology services. Accreditation

We are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) for all of the diagnostic modalities we offer. The ACR gold seal of accreditation represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety. It is awarded only to facilities meeting ACR Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards after a peer-review evaluation by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field. Image quality, personnel qualifications, adequacy of facility equipment, quality control procedures, and quality assurance programs are assessed. The findings are reported to the ACR Committee on Accreditation, which subsequently provides the practice with a comprehensive report they can use for continuous practice improvement.
