Methodist Hospitals announced that Kim Innes, Julie Kerns, and Dena McCormick have been promoted to Assistant Vice Presidents.
Kim Innes
Kim Innes has served as Methodist Hospital’s Orthopedic Service Line Director for more than six years. She has more than 20 years of successful strategic planning, business development and team building experience in the healthcare industry, such as the development of the Northwest Indiana Orthopedic-Spine Institute at Methodist, including its total joint replacement and sports medicine programs. She also spearheaded the opening of the Methodist Hospitals CareFirst clinics in Crown Point and Merrillville. Innes holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Julie Kerns has worked at Methodist Hospitals for 15 years. Her career at Methodist began as an RN, Supervisor of Employee Health, Clinical Nurse Manager, Oncology Nurse Navigator and most recently as Director of Nursing Quality and Regulatory Compliance. Julie holds a Master of Science degree in Health Informatics from the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Dena McCormick has worked at Methodist Hospitals for 11 years. She has over 20 years of experience in health care quality and regulatory compliance and led Methodist Hospitals in earning the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of approval for hospital accreditation which is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization providing safe and effective patient care. She holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Governor’s State University.
