Methodist Hospitals supply chain director named to Health Care Supply Chain Hall of Fame

Jack Anderson, Supply Chain Director at Methodist Hospitals, has been named to the Bellwether League’s Health Care Supply Chain Hall of Fame. He is one of just eight supply chain professionals nationally to receive this honor in 2020. The Bellwether League confers this honor on individuals regarded as innovators, pioneers and visionaries for their industry contributions and performance.

“Since joining Methodist in 2019, Jack has made a number of important contributions to the financial stewardship and operational effectiveness of our hospitals, and we are happy to see him receive this recognition by his peers.” said Matt Doyle, Methodist Hospitals President and CEO.

During his 40-year career, Mr. Anderson has served more than 150 health care providers and group purchasing organizations throughout the world. As an innovator in hospital supply chain management, he was one of the earliest adopters of surgical case cart systems and automatic replenishment systems and he has extensive experience in resource and product standardization, operations improvement processes and materials management information systems.
