Methodist Hospitals offering Prepared Childbirth Classes and Breast Feeding Walk-In Clinics at both Campuses

Prepared Childbirth Classes
Prepared Childbirth Classes are four week classes designed to assist pregnant mothers and their partners learn about labor, delivery and the immediate post-partum period. The first three weeks focus on labor – relaxation, breathing and breast feeling. Week four discusses parenting topics. These classes are recommended at 7 to 8 months of pregnancy. Free to mothers delivering at Methodist Hospitals. To enroll call 1-800-909-3627.

At Northlake Campus

Mondays from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
August 5, 12, 19 (3 week session only)
September 9, 16, 23 and 30

At Southlake Campus
Maternal Fetal Medicine Conference Room, 8701 Broadway, Merrillville, IN

Tuesdays from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
August 20, 27, Sept 3, 10
September 17, 24, October 1, 8

• Breastfeeding Walk-in Clinic
Free Clinic for prenatal and postnatal breastfeeding mothers. Share stories, make connections, and learn about available support services.

At Northlake Campus

At Southlake Campus
