We help you breathe easier.
The Lung Care Center at Methodist Hospitals has one overriding goal: to provide the best possible treatment and outcome for you. We do this by combining advanced diagnostic technologies and treatment options with comprehensive rehabilitative services and supportive care to heal your body and nourish your spirit.
Our Multi-Disciplinary Team
The Lung Care Center brings together the experience and expertise of skilled physicians, including pulmonologists, radiologists, thoracic surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists and pathologists, who work with each patient’s primary care physician to diagnose, plan and execute the appropriate treatment based on National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines. Our Lung Care Nurse Navigator, a specialist in pulmonary care, guides patients through the treatment process.
Low-Dose CT Lung Cancer Screening
Methodist Hospitals offers screening with low-dose computed tomography (CT) for those at high risk for lung cancer, based on NCI study criteria. The National Lung Screening Trial (NLST) found that low-dose screening helped reduce mortality by 20% for those at high risk of developing lung cancer. CLICK HERE to learn more.
Low-Dose CT Lung Cancer Screenings are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and many other insurance plans with a physician order.
