Methodist Hospitals has appointed Lauren Trumbo as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance.

Lauren brings to Methodist Hospitals a deep expertise in hospital finance, having served as Chief Financial Officer for Community Healthcare System’s St. Catherine Hospital since 2016.  Lauren knows health care operations from the clinical side as well: she worked her way through college as a Certified Nurse Assistant at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart and Miller’s Merry Manor in Portage.

Lauren has long been active in community service and currently serves as Board President for both Mental Health America of Northwest Indiana and Northshore Health Centers.  Lauren’s community service also includes an advisory capacity with the Merrillville-based Nurse-Family Partnership, and she was responsible for the creation of a Financial Literacy program series for residents of East Chicago, Indiana.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters Degree of Accountancy from Purdue University, and is a Certified Public Accountant in Indiana.
