In today’s busy, wired world, problems with sleep are at epidemic levels— and they can have serious effects on health and safety. Methodist Hospitals’ Certified Sleep Center is staffed by sleep experts who can identify more than 100 known sleep disorders, including insomnia, sleep apnea, sleepwalking and restless legs.
Accurate diagnosis is necessary to enable effective treatment for sleep disorders. Unfortunately, sleep disorders are often underdiagnosed because they tend to develop gradually over time with symptoms that are difficult to recognize.
A sleep study provides valuable insight into the causes of a person’s symptoms including which, if any, sleep disorder is present. Our Certified Sleep Center expertly performs patient sleep studies at the Center as well as home sleep studies.
