Dr. Smith received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, which helps him stay current on the latest medical technology.

Practicing medicine has been Dr. Smith’s life-long passion. He wakes up every day with the same excitement as the last knowing his patient’s place their confidence in him to help them with their foot and ankle care. His patient’s love the fact that he takes his time to answer questions and explains conditions and treatments.

Dr. Smith provides patients with diabetic foot care, sports medicine treatments, wound care, heel pain diagnosis and treatment, surgical correction of deformities and trauma, minimally invasive arthroscopy, and treatment for skin, nail, and soft tissue infections.

Dr. Smith spends as much time as needed with every patient, making sure they feel welcome and fully understood.
